Sale Motor Cycle Club - souvenir programme, 4th annual carnival
Dublin Core
Title
Sale Motor Cycle Club - souvenir programme, 4th annual carnival
Description
This programme is not simply a dry itinerary of the club's event. Details of the carnival are included but there are many humorous passages from the self proclaimed 'largest crowd of leg-pullers in the North of England.'
Under the heading of 'facts that you may or may not be aware of' they claim that 'the Police of the places we visit love to see us leave' and that 'the Membership stands at 150; the Members stop at nothing'. A ladies' page is included, with a birthday cake recipe in which you must 'add 1 aspirin for every anniversary of birthday'.
