Urmston Hall, Manor Avenue, Urmston

Urmston Hall, was the seat of the ancient families of Urmston. Excavations reveal traces of two buildings, the first was half-timbered and can be dated from the late 16th century to early 17th. The second building was brick and dates back to the 1720s.
