Harry Wilkinson: Collector & Photographer

To celebrate Local and Community History Month 2026, Trafford Local Studies volunteer Richard Nelson has researched and written an article that explores the life, legacy and collections of Harry Wilkinson (1870-1940).

Trafford Local Studies & Archives, current custodians of Wilkinson's vast collection of slides and negatives, have overseen a project were thousands of slides have been digitised and made accessible to the public.
